Procurement

Welcome to the virtual place for ACUAMED's procurement processes.
The procurement system enabled by ACUAMED, the abbreviation of the company name Aguas de las Cuencas MediterrĂ¡neas, S.A., is based on its status as a public state company classified as a procurement body.

ACUAMED contracts are private in nature, and in terms of their preparation and adjudication are governed, in the absence of any specific regulations, and subject to the exceptions established in law, by the Public Sector Procurement Act (Act 30/2007), and with regard to their effects and termination, by private law.

Act 30/2007 itself defines those contracts excluded from its scope of application, in addition to contracts which, lying within its scope, are subject to harmonised regulation (the rules for the preparation and adjudication of contracts laid down in Act 30/2007 itself, along with adaptations those which are not), and which must be governed by internal contractual instructions drawn up by ACUAMED itself.

ACUAMED informs all parties with an interest in taking part in contract procurement procedures of its Internal Contractual Instructions for contracts covered by the scope of application of Act 30/2007 and not subject to harmonised regulation. For all other contractual arrangements, as stated above, the harmonised regulations established in the Act apply.
